a new era of project spectrum

air

air - gray, yellow and white. i rarely employ this palette - so i am kind of curious to knit outside of the box during this two month period.

air inspirations...i think gray clouds + silver linings, glowing sun through overcast sky. i think peace and wholeness. but then, i think the entire project spectrum process based in elements provokes calm and quiet for me. it's all very sensory. i think of my yoga practice filled with inhalations and exhalations - my soundtrack for this period shall be my favorite yoga cd, i wake up every morning to oceans of peace...when class begins with this, i know it is fate i am there. think about sharing in peace - listen here. *okay, a bit new age but seriously, very relaxing*

Oooh, I really like these colors. I think that Jitterbug Vincent's Apron is calling to you. It wants to be knit into some pretty socks (and I want to see what it looks like knit up, because I've been drooling over this colorway for a while now). Can't wait to see what you make!

i admit that those colors are a bit out of my color-zone too. I'll be anxious to see what you make!

I love how you linked PS-Air with your yoga practice. It's so interesting how knitting effects so many aspects of our lives.

Such a beautiful assortment. I can't wait to see how they are transformed into little works of handknit art.

Love those beautiful golds!

I couldn't get the sound to work for Oceans Of Peace but I be it's wonderful. I would like something like that.

For one who doesn't off knit with these colors, you sure do have some gorgeous yarns to get started with!!

All of these colors are really amazing... I especially like the yellow even though it may not be as popular of a color:) Will you be making a lovely pair of sockies with Vincent's Apron? I've been coveting that color for sometime now.

It is really cool by the way how the creativity of Project Spectrum and the whole sense of wellness: Mind, Spirit, Body go hand in hand.

Lovely music! I'm curious to see your project too since this pallette is way out of my comfort zone. Looks like fun though!

This project spectrum thing is looking more interesting to me. I'm embarking on a chevron scarf that is turning out to be not "me" colors, although very pretty. I think you've inspired me to knit it anyway! :)

Pretty pictures all in a row, how do you do that? I like your attitude about your Prject Spectrum--I read a blog where the knitter was miserably unhappy with the "air" theme. I love your vision. Oh yeah..I love your yarn too. I don't think I've ever seen ugly yarn in your stash!
