Rise up, 'gather round...Rock this place to the ground - or not?

Def Leppard...on Dancing with the Stars? OMG, what is the world coming to? Is anyone else feeling my pain?

RS629

I must weep - I would've worn a British flag t-shirt with pride in homage to Joe Elliot, until today (now, I'd wear the shirt but I'd deny the Def Leppard connection). Egads, gone are my 7th grade days of jamming to Pyromania - this is a tragedy. I know 7th grade was 24 years ago but still.

And then to add insult to injury - hello - Joe, you're lip syncing? Who do you think you're f-f-f-foolin? doh!

Ok, so you're saying I should hit mute when they come on? 'Cause dude, you're 3 hours ahead of me and it hasn't aired yet. Wah. I have been distinctly underwhelmed by both the musical acts and the "stars of dance" performances this year. Except there was one folksy kindof guy last week I think. But I don't know who, 'cause I barely listen to pop radio anymore...

OMG- I used to LOVE that album. But I'm glad the illusion is saved for me. Not a big AI girl.

I cringed. I too remember the days of singing Pour Some Sugar on Me (because my older brother blasted that music!), but between the sorta singing and the ballroom dancing...it was just a bit too much. ugh.

Well, you should have caught them on "ELLEN" yesterday. I was on the treadmill at the gym after work, and they closed her show - it was SO bad (they were singing HYSTERIA too - a fave), that the gym manager (also an 80's child), asked if someone was doing karoake! Sad day indeed. I loved their albums!

I had all their pins on my jean jacket in the eighth grade - tried sooo hard to be cool! BTW I found your blog through Christine and I'm loving it!

I knew you were a Twizzler girl but not the peel kind. You learn something everyday. Excellent.

Sorry about the dancing with the stars thing, that is sad. I can't bring myself to watch even one second of that show. I just don't get the whole thing.
