Happy Valentine's Day!
A lame attempt at making my mittens look like a heart... it's the thought, right?
As I sit here and watch more piles of snow decend on my house - wow - it looks like Christmas - but no, it's mid-February - yup, that is it. Our area has beaten the all time record for snow fall, so what is the point of it all now - there are no records to beat, but someday I can tell my grandkids "I remember the winter of '08 it was a doozy, kids!" I remember walking to school in the 80's - don't you? Both ways too, in all that record snowfall, and there were hills galore. Uh-huh! That's why I had to learn to knit wool socks, because I had to change them twice a day just to keep my feet warm.
PS - only a little embellishment, but who will know! I rode the bus.
Awww, they do look like a heart!
Hope you had a nice Valentine's Day despite the snow dump! Here's hoping Spring is just around the corner.
Those are so pretty. I'm not a noro fan (it's the texture I fear) but that particular colorway is drawing me into it's web of desire.
Hey the heart shaped shadow looks perfect! Happy belated V-Day to you too!
Happy Belated V-Day! Sorry for the snow, but at least you knit :) Can you imagine being stuck home for so long with no interesting hobby??
Well I hope you get to stay home and keep warm and cozy with all that snow outside. Our weather is crazy here in TX, some days we're in the high 70's but tomorrow is forecast for cold wet, hail, and possibly lightening... then more sunshine on Sunday!
Your mitts look very cute btw, very heart looking ;-)
Keep inside -- that white stuff is coooold! ;)
They totally look like a heart!
And besides that, they're so pretty!
