almost nothing makes me more giddy...

than a gorgeous pile of books to read.

book_love

Isn't that a pretty sight?

Several are new Amazon arrivals. One is from the library. One is from my book club, QPB. And one just arrived from Paperbackswap.com. I just love books. To own, to borrow, to lend, to carry without purpose, to smell, to gift, to lose sleep over, to covet and to read again. I love to have a pile waiting for me.

Now I am off to bed for my nightly ritual...of books, of course. Nighty night!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I have a serious addiction to and love affair with stacks and lovely stacks of books.

I just read Astrid & Veronika and now I want to read Sonata for Miriam! Let me know if it's worth buying or if I should get it from the library. I borrowed A&V and I want to own it now.... Yes, I love books crazy much.

I get so excited by books. But the truth is that if I have the chance to knit or read, I will always choose knitting. Reading gets about 2 pages per night before I drift off. Needless to say, it takes me forever to finish a book...

Lovely! I've kind of put myself on a book diet until I read a bit more....but The Homemade Life has been on my short list for awhile!! Enjoy!

You'll have to post reviews! I love a nice stack of new books to read, too. I've been on a Ruth Reichl binge lately.

I love to read too. I am always reading something. I love goodreads.com because it helps me keep track of what I have read and what I want to read.
