"good" week
First, I had a good start...
I really like how sweet and feminine picot is, and while it's kind of a chore, it's a good thing. It turned out to be an awesome knit-group-knit, too - I cannot walk and chew gum but I can chat and knit stockinette. whew. And if I keep at this baby, I can pull it's lonely match off the singles market.
Then I had a good spin...
Hello Yarn - Throve - Corridale
Is it redundant to day I like this skein best? Because I think I love this one the best.
And I watched a good movie...
And I started a good book...
So all in all, it's good.

Is that the start of a sock? Is that all one yarn? It's very pretty! I can't talk and knit at the same time either :)
Or knit more than stockinette, that is. :)
A good week indeed! And goodness, that handspun is absolute summer! Perfect!
Love the knitting and the spinning is awesome! Such colours!
Your spinning is a-MA-zing!!!! I am so impressed. And I like that one the best (so far) too! The sock looks very pretty as well. Have a great weekend.
I've never tried picot, but it looks lovely. I love that hello yarn spin. Isn't her fiber a dream to spin?

Love the Noro picot top sock. Thanks for the movie recommendation - I'll have to check that out.
The Noro + picot combo is so unexpected, I love it!
this will make a lovely sock! is it noro? and your handspun is just gorgeous!
Hooray for good weeks! Yours looks like it was a great one, actually! Your spinning impresses me every time -- that looks like some of the yummiest, squishiest, prettiest handspun ever. Here's to a good weekend!
just added the movie to the top of my netflix queue! thanks.
that is the prettiest skein of yarn I have ever seen, really. those colors are so dreamy. I wish I could spin like you!

It all sounds (and looks!) good!
I love your sock! I have yet to knit a picot edge, but I guess I could always start! I need to start a new, easy sock for Maryland Sheep and Wool knitting. I think a picot edge would be perfect - thanks for the idea!
And your handspun is gorgeous!
Love Anna Quindlen!
That's a great week!
Hooray for all the goodness!
I too love the picot edge
